Meet The Bookkeeping Team


Kevin Jarvis Owner of The Bookkeeping Team

Kevin runs The Bookkeeping Team and has worked in accountancy since 2008 (we bet he feels old now!)

He went to Bournemouth University and if one degree wasn’t enough, he’s currently studying for an OU degree in History!


Leah Jarvis The Bookkeeping Team

Leah runs The Bookkeeping Team alongside husband Kevin.

Leah’s background is in the travel industry which includes 13 years with Flybe, for whom she was the Operations Manager at Southampton Airport.


Jennie joins us as an accountant with over 15 years’ experience. She loves helping small businesses grow and we know she’ll be able to provide invaluable advice to our clients.

When she’s not working Jennie enjoys spending time with her children and their dog, Eddie. She also has a penchant for setting up a side-hustle so has experience when it comes to starting a new business.


Kate studied English & Theology at University in the USA (on a football scholarship) and went on to become an English teacher.

She retrained and became a fully qualified ACCA accountant in June 2019. Having worked in Private Equity for 5 years as a Senior Accountant she’s joined us as an Accountant and Client Manager.

At the weekends Kate loves to run, play football and spend time doing anything generally outdoorsy with her wife and three year old daughter.


Nichola Payroll and Bookkeeping Manager

Nichola is our Bookkeeping and Payroll Manager.

Her first foray into accounts was in 2005. After the 2008 financial crisis she moved to work in health care, supporting our wonderful NHS.

Nichola is currently finishing her level 4 ICB qualification and will soon be studying for her AAT level 4.

When she’s not got her head in the numbers Nichola really enjoys running and going to the gym.



Marek supports The Bookkeeping Team and our clients with bookkeeping and accounting. He’s currently studying for his AAT Level 4.

Besides work, Marek is engaged and has an energetic young daughter. He likes spending time with his family, travelling, reading and listening to music.


Ben Roe
Ben supports our clients with management accounts and forecasting and recently completed his AAT studies.
Outside of work he is married and has a young son (which we’re sure must keep him busy). He enjoys cooking and has completed his bronze ballroom dance medals!


Isabelle graduated from a Public Services degree and supports us with our day-to-day administration, keeping us organised and generally being on top of things.

When she’s not working, she likes to spend as much time travelling as possible, enjoys skiing and hanging out with her family.


Jordan joined the team in March 2021 as an accounts and admin assistant under the Kickstart Scheme and is studying for her AAT level 2 apprenticeship with us.
Jordan has experience working in retail and studied for a double business and business admin diploma at Itchen Sixth Form College.
When she’s  not working, she loves to explore new places, try new food, and do new activities with her partner James.
